Emireth Herrera Valdés is a curator & writer based in Brooklyn, NY. Her curatorial and writing practice reflects her deep commitment to socially-engaged projects and the contextualization of complex issues related to migration, mobility, dislocation, refugees, and indigenous culture.
Herrera is currently a Curator in Residency at Flux Factory, where she is continuing to develop her curatorial vision and showcase the work of artists who address important social and cultural issues. As a guest curator at Residency Unlimited, she expands her network with International artists bringing new perspectives and voices to the forefront of contemporary art.
